Has anybody had experience growing one of these or any of the dwarfs? How tall do they get? Wide? Can they take full west sun? - I'm in Houston, 9a.
Dwarf Golden Arborvitae (Thuja Orientalis)Aurea Nana
I used to have one. It grew to about 6 feet tall and 4 feet wide in a 15 year period. Mine had a north-east position. It is a very beautiful plant. Unfortunately, I had to cut it down because neighborhood "punks" hide behind it and 2 larger Arborvitae (also cut down) in order to smoke marijuana. I had marijuana plants coming up everywhere!
