Bacon Cheese Biscuits
3 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1/4 c. cheddar cheese shredded. Set aside.
Stir together:
1 3/4 c. unbleached flour
1/4 c. sugar
2 1/2 t. baking powder
1/4 t. salt. Make a well in the center.
Combine:
1 egg, beaten
1/2c. milk
1/2c. sourdough starter
1/3 c. oil. Add to dry ingredients all at once. Stir till just moistened.
Stir in bacon and cheese. Fill greased muffin pans 3/4 full.
Bake 400* for 20 minutes.
Makes 12 muffins
