Can someone tell me what their preferred growing conditions are please? I've had one for several months, growing happily in the shadehouse, but I'm seeing pics of it on the net that are red, so I'm wondering if I'm supposed to have it in sun?

Hi Pam, if you go to the FBS site, look up your plant, and under the photos there are links to the people who posted them. It might be worthwhile sending an email to one of them requesting info. Usually brom people are quite generous with their knowledge. I've never seen or heard of the plant myself, but after looking at it in the FBS site, I see what you mean about it being reddish.
