hi
can any one tell me what wrong with my pineapple plant
too wet
too dry
???

Did you let the cut callous for a few days before planting it? You can also start it in perlite so it dries out faster until it roots.

It looks like it is in too deep and the soil may be too wet. I would try i again - they root fairly easy.

Years ago I started a pineapple from the fruit. I found that the extra tissue or fruit has to be remove to the core (where the top meets the part you eat) or will rot. I placed it in a low saucer of water and it sent out roots.
