I called the utility city folks last week & they said this is a transformer for underground neighborhood electricity.
They said I can plant around it as long as they can cut or move the plants if they have to get in the box. It folds over 1/2 way.
I have been here 6 years & they've been in it once so I'm really not worried about them getting in it anytime soon.
Last fall I planted fountain grass, but that's not going to get it. It's boring. I know plants take time, but I need something else to hide it on all 4 sides.
This box is the pits and I am so sick of looking at it! I know the yard doesn't look all that hot now but my hostas are all sleeping. :D
So, I've got money, I'm good with materials & plants - just NEED IDEAS!
