Ah, South Africa. Have you been on a recent trip?

Westbrook, ME(Zone 5a)

Hi Kell! Yes, we went on a 3 week trip. I didn't get too many plant photos because in Kruger park visitors are not allowed to get out of the car. There's too many dangerous animals.

Sounds like an incredible trip. Did you get to see the dangerous animals?

Yes - Yes. It's a very cool place to go. The animals are so abundant it makes driving kind of hairy at times. We saw the big 5 plus so much more.

Lucky you Sue! So you have become a world traveler!!

What's the big 5? I'm guessing elephants, giraffes and ??

Sounds like a wonderful vacation!

Hi Joan, The big 5 are elephants, lion, rhino, cape buffalo and leopard. Those are the 5 most desirable animals to see, i guess. Yes - it was a trip of a life time. We even went down in a shark cage to see the great whites off of cape town. I can't wait to plan our next adventure. Not sure what direction we'll head in next. I would like to see more of Africa though. It's such a beautiful continent.

Lions, elephants, rhinos, buffalo and leopards! Oh, my!

Oh did you take pics of the great whites up close and personal?? Gosh, what a trip! Where else have you gone since we last talked?

Hi Joan!
