Cute pictures. Isn't it fun to be so close to them? I have several photos where my hubbie and I are holding them on our fingers as they eat.

At the moment,we have this lovely birds on the patio. The picture was taken earlier in December. I think it's a "PineGrosbeak" from the North Western territories

Yes it is a Pine Grosbeak!! Their a beautiful bird!

I'm not necessarily ready for summer (hot, humid,horseflies) but I am definitely ready for Spring!!!

I'll take summer over winter any day.

The picture I made is not very good of the "The Eastern Loggerhead Shrike"....I had to stay inside to take the shot.
At the beginning it was fascinating to watch him hunting the mice below our bird feeder, but after a while I felt sorry for the little mice.......
