The Hummingbird Migration Map 2009 for the Ruby's has been posted week. There could be a sighting anytime now for one of the little migrants. I will have to wait another couple of weeks before they get to my area.

Hummingbird Migration Map for 2009
Hello Dianne,
Glad to see you here! :)
Susan Louise I check in from time to time.
I should be seeing my first Ruby any day now. Coral, Alabama crimson, and goldflame honeysuckles blooming along with lots of native wildflowers. I have feeders hung also.
I wish they'd do that for some of the other species. The Ruby is so rare here that I don't even bother to think about it.
Mimidi, you're so lucky! Here in NJ the snowdrops & crocus are just blooming. Won't have much else for a while yet!
Gadduct I have a feeling you will be seeing spring before too long.
I saw my first Ruby Saturday afternoon. He was back Sunday. Once one shows up others always follow.
Hello All,
1st Ruby of the season arrived here today in SW Virginia! Glad I put my feeders out last week. I also posted the sighting on the Hummingbird Migration Map.
I saw my first hummer this afternoon in North Central Texas. It was backlit so I couldn't see what type it was. Too bad he had to arrive just before the cold temps. Hope it warms up soon for them!
