Push to door of Hibiscus in Japan

Coushatta, LA

I love Hibiscus they have such beautiful flowers.

Pretty Japanese hibiscus. It mentions they are collecting from the US; can you imagine the shipping charges and the difficulty getting plants through customs. True Hibiscus addicts!

The electronic translations can be funny sometimes. The last link mentions he was originally collecting "hair like you like". There must be a flower with a similar name to hair and the computer did not pick it up correctly.

Dany . . .

what are you doing over here...lol

I too am just getting into some great Hibiscus. Almost all that I have are Bobby Dupont Cajun Hibiscus cultivars.

Fun isn't it!

Hi emma,
They are addicting aren't they. Just gotta love them. I lived in your neck of the world from 91-94. Loved it there. Beautiful country!!!

Hi Robert -

Great to meet you!
Yes, it is nice in East Texas . . . ESPECIALLY after living in Houston for 30 years . . . lol

I tell you, I am getting more and more hooked on these Gorgeous Hibiscus, just what I needed too 'Another' Addiction. I already run my legs off every year with my Morning Glories growing between 800 to 1000 vines each year.

Spent most of the day potting up my 15 new Hibiscus babies ;-)

Hi Dany,

You will be fine growing 250 Morning Glories. Piece of cake!

I plan to get some of mine germinating in the next week to two weeks. I start off slow, then by spring, I have babies everywhere to pot up or plant in the ground.

I think the Hibiscus are going to be fun too. They are just soooooo pretty!
I bought 10 plants last year and so far 15 this year. Almost all are Bobby Dupont cultivars.

Here is one that I recently got
