Found a seed I missed last year when I planted all the others. This one started out green, so I'm guessing it's not albino. But then the other leaves are this white color with green veins. It's about an inch from the lights. Does anyone know why this is happening ?
My only seedling
I can think of possibilities, but don't know for sure. I have/had a few seedlings that sent out a first set of pale true leaves. I was using straight coir as the starting medium so my first thought for mine was lack of nutrients. Two of the seedlings greened up on their own, but they weren't as yours and the yellowing wasn't as extensive. I see some moss growing on the surface of the little pot. So consider root damage due to overwatering. You may want to check the pH of the soil. If the pH is well above 7, according to Tonny's thread, it could be iron deficiency. Or zinc deficiency. Tonny shows a seedling with advanced zinc deficiency, but he doesn't say what causes it. If it is a zinc deficiency, he suggests culling early. I need to learn more about nutrient deficiencies. I bought his e-Book on Brugmansias so I'll check to see what he says about nutrients. If you haven't fertilized the seedling, try a dilute fertilizer solution the next time you water.

Thanks Bettydee, I'll check the ph and let you know.
