the new column

on this board is a column that has 'yes' and 'no'
listed down the side
what does it mean
mine all say no--please what does that signify, did I post wrong or something?

That tells whether someone else has posted a response. If someone has it will say Yes.

That means/shows whether or not there are new posts on that thread. No = no new posts. Yes = ues new post that you have not read.
