Sweet Almond Verbena

Middle of, VA(Zone 7a)

I've tried to find our thread where we were discussing this and where to find it - my eyes are crossed at this point. Please remind me if anyone has successful grown this in zone 7ish? Not sure what I was thinking (or not apparently) but I didn't realize this one wasn't hardy. I'm considered 7A but as you've heard one too many times, my front area of TH is seriously a micro-climate - brick south facing front. It's been surprising the things that have survived in my front yard...so I'm hoping she'll do ok in the corner next to front of house. I was really looking forward to the scent and having it attract butterflies - figured Chloe would love that!!! Any thoughts - suggestions?

Too much of a good thang...http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/942132/
I would try to push it they are cheap enough to buy 2 and keep one in a pot.

Caren...LOL...silly me forgot to post that I found it...ordered it...have it in a pot since she's just a baby. Only ordered one though b/c I'd found so many other things I NEEDED - sure you understand....right? LOL I'll probably put her IN the ground and if I like her and she doesn't make it, I know better next year and just be forced to place a THIRD order...LOL

Where did you order this at Chantell. Sounds like a plant worth having.

Woops, never mind, I see from that other thread that you got it at almost eden, I've ordered several times from them last year, that's a good place. I really like their plants.

Yes, I've been very pleased with their plants...hoping when I get home my 2nd order will be waiting for me. Interested in the whole dwarf fruit tree thing now.
