She started putting on an "inflow" (is that right?) right after I brought it in for the winter. So instead of putting it in the GH to go dormant, I brought it in the house and kept it in a south facing window. About 3 weeks ago I moved it to a west window b/c the sun was more intense in there. I came home to this yesterday. Smells soooo nice!
flower'd in winter!
It actually feels like it looks. So soft and velvety.
nice! nothing like plumie blooms during the winter.
Very nice, looks like you'll be getting a few more flowers in the next few days to enjoy.
Thanks Dutch, I just went and smelled it and yes you could say it smells "peachy" a heavy scent. I kinda want to say musky too.
Thank you, I believe the correct name is Aztec Gold.
it's purty but that does not look like aztec gold. :) just one look at the petals and you can see that they are different.
It may not be Aztec Gold then. I rec'd this in a trade along with some others. I had the name written on the side of the pot but it faded before I recorded it properly. Now that I think on it, the one marked AG is in my GH and is currently dormant. I'm just tickled that I have something so tropical blooming and it's Feb.! Any gusses as to what I have then?
thanks
