Does anyone know of a good place to get Siberian Iris bulbs? I am a beginner so any tips or advice would be appreciated!
Seeking Siberian Iris bulbs
did you google it?
Thanks for the links! I ended up ordering from bulbs direct. They seemed to have the best selection of what I was looking for at the best prices. Wish me luck!
It's so much fun ordering and waiting.I've bought from several of the Co-op's and I feel like a little girl waiting on Santa. Now if the warmer weather would get here I'd be in heaven.
Keep an eye on the Seed Trade and Plant Trade Forums ,some times they'll do for postage if you don't have any trades yet.And also watch the

And the Co-op Forum you can get some really good deals and also watch the http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/f/swaps/all/ .

Siberian Iris rhizomes, you mean? or SIBs as an irisarian would say.
best two places I know of for SIBs
www.ensata.com
www.snowpeakiris.com
ensata (Japanese iris) has an awesome array, from cheap to pricey. Have seen their gardens. but don't expect to buy a SIB and not walk away without a JI, because when the SIBs stop blooming, the JIs start and it's just too addicting! Bauer and Coble are hugh in the "beardless" iris world, some of the best in USA. And they are as sweet and nice as can be. they carry the best of the best and the tried and true, and are top notch hybridizers. near Kalamazoo MI
Dee Stewart at Snowpeak is a dreamboat, so very helpful. everything you've ever wanted to ask about your SIBs, she'll help you with. she's irisloverdee on davesgarden, so you can dmail her. her gardens are very clean and her SIBs beds recently tripled. Dee is an iris judge in America Iris Society and is intro'ing her first seedlings now. she is incredibly generous with bonus plants. about 40 miles from Salem OR
both of these groups have very high reputations for superior customer service. you can't go wrong.
Aitken's Salmon Creek is another place I viewed (in their garden May 2007) marvelous siberians. They have an online site. Aitken is former president of AIS, I think. But I've had problems with mold in their Tall Bearded shipments, they have such a wet climate where they are located. Their JIs arrived just fine, and SIBs would ship like JIs. They are wonderful people and I left a considerable amount of drool in their SIB beds. in Vancover WA
for a spring shipment, you'll have to hurry with an order. all of the above don't ship SIBs in the summer. fall and spring only.

oops, so sorry, didn't see where you'd already ordered!
It is always fun for all of us to see a new supplier, so thank you for posting.
If anyone is still interested in Siberian irises Ensata Gardens has a great selection right now on sale. The sale is 10 Sibs for $25.00, that's only $2.50 each which is a great buy.
