Aspen's as Bonsai

Has anyone heard of Aspen trees as bonsai?

I believe I have seen them featured in Bonsai Book. It would be very interesting to give it a try.
If you have the seed and the time, Go For it!!It would look beautiful on a long narrow tray.

Any tree can be a bonsai.

Thanks, I think I will try it. I was wondering about the root system with Aspens. They are connected together, so there has to be more then one. I guess it will look like my maples, kind of like a forest. Do you know of any good bonsai plant suppliers?

I would think you'd have more options out in Ca.
There is one guy I was reading his web-site and he had classes and a really good set-up, I believe in California. If I find it I'll get back to you. He was talking on Bonsai Talk.
