Yes, I too am guilty for not introducing myself! My name is Cathy and I've had a flower garden for about 6 years now. This is my second year for a vegetable garden thanks to a neighbor who introduced me to veggie gardening. Now I definitely have the gardening bug. I can't get my hands on enough flowers or veggies! I have always had house plant, even when I was a young girl. Everyone I have met so far is very nice. I am anxious to meet more of you.
Thanks and Happy Gardening everyone!

Welcome, Tinkerbell! Widefield is east of Co. Spgs, right? My parents lived in Springs until about five years ago....I grew up in Trinidad (about 130 miles south of Springs.) Colorado is a beautiful state, but too cold for me!
Thanks everyone for the welcome!!!! I'm glad that everyone here is so friendly! Hey go_vols I know where Trinidad is. Widefield is actually a small suburb of Colorado Springs. It's on the south end of the Springs. I've lived here all of my life so it doesn't bother me too much. I still hate the cold and I don't mind the snow as long as I don't have to get out in it!:D Thanks again everyone for the greetings!
Hi!tinkerbell, If no one comes between us we are neighbors on the members list. Bless your heart you are really keeping those Drs. busy! When I was growing up (not much)kids would ask me why I was so little? I would tell them that I promised "peter-pan" I will never grow up! I kept that promise literally, I am 4'8" It's due to getting RA as a child. I'm not one of the "little" people, but I might as well be, I really respect thier challanges. We also have "challanges" in common. I'm new too, and learning how to get around this site . It has me addicted! God Bless You!:D

Thanks again everyone! We are neighbors on the members list for now anyway tink76627. I like that about telling the kids that you promised "peter-pan" that you would never grow up! You're about the same height as me 4'11"! I'm still learning to navigate this site as well. God Bless You as well!;D
Welcome tinkerbell to the garden! This comes from another 4'11". Just you & tink remember...Dynamite comes in small packages!

Welcome from Western PA...Nice to meet you. I'll try very hard not to call you "tink"...just doesn't feel right. **giggle** "T" :)
Lol Sledder!! Hey Tink!!!! Welcome from Virginia :-)
Gee, it just keeps getting better! I'm a half inch under 5 feet, and wouldn't have it any other way. For years, my daughter-in-law and I had a running thing about who was taller. She looked shorter to me, but always somehow managed to come out taller on the door facing we used to record such things. Shortly after my cancer surgery, in a rare moment of being able to join the family outside my bedroom, someone once again brought up the height thing. Julie, my aforementioned DIL, just tried to blow it off, but my mother and sister were visiting from La. and had never gone through the measuring ritual. So we all backed up to a new door facing and measured. Even without hair, I stood a full half inch taller than Julie. Now her husband, my oldest son, refers to his wife as "the short one". She was actually the shortest one present. My giant daughter proudly struts around saying " I'm the tallest!" She is all of 5'3". It's amusing to read about all you fellow shorties. Will someone assure these good people we do too have a reason for living, and we don't always have stinky feet?
