Warbler ID help please

Sugar Land, TX

I was at Brazos Bend State Park (southwest of Houston, TX) again yesterday and this warbler is confusing me a bit. It has a small red dot on it's head. Please help my ID it.

Thanks from a newbie,
Chris

that's the famous "cute" warbler.

Chris, did you know we have a separate Forum now for IDing birds? You might be able to get quicker/more thorough responses there.

Chris, with a small red dot on its head, it's probably a Ruby-crowned Kinglet.

I didn't know we had a Bird ID forum. I never go to the general forum area. I just open my "favorites". Thanks.

cshirsch - That bird is beautiful. I'm going to keep watching to see if anyone lets you know on this thread.

There is a click-able link for it right above the threads in this forum.

yup, we got the ID forum last year. Before that we just had one ID thread going. It's nice because you can CLOSE threads that are solved. And nice to take a look at all the birds that need IDed.

Yeah, I clicked it and added it to my favorites. Thanks though. It's really cool.

Northumberland, United Kingdom(Zone 9a)

First is probably (not 100% certain) a Nashville Warbler, second is a Ruby-crowned Kinglet.
