Has anyone tried growing Ranunculus in or around San Antonio? Our daughter has them growing in Denton, TX now while it is cool. Haven't seen them since I lived in N. California.

I'm in Northeast Texas and I have three or four decent patches of them, that came back from blooming last year. I'm really pleased with them. They have not bloomed yet this year, but I'm sure they will be pretty again.
I tried them years ago, but I don't think it was when we were in San Antonio. I mostly had 15' - 20' oleanders there!
I didn't have any luck with them in Paris, but I don't remember what kind of sun they are supposed to have. I probably had them getting the west sun.
