Hand Eczema from Clay

Minneapolis, MN(Zone 4b)

I have had dry cracked skin on my hands for awhile and finally went to a dermatologist. She said I have hand eczema and the best thing would be to stop working with clay. That isn't going to happen.

She prescribed Tetrix cream, cortisone cream and using both Vanicream soap and cream. Plus wearing gloves, cotton ones with vinyl over them. I have the vanicream and cortisone I need to order gloves and the Tetirx wasn't going to be in until today. I found both of the gloves but want to order some that fit better and last longer.

Do any of you have this problem and how have you dealt with it?
