probably a Red-tailed as we have many flying over our farm.
CLOSED: Some kind of Hawk
It's not a buteo (e.g. Red-tailed Hawk). It's an accipiter - Sharp-shinned or Cooper's Hawk.
Ditto to Accipiter; probably Sharp-shinned, as the tail feathers are all about the same length, and the toes look thin.
