Pink Charm (#1 favorite)

Fort Lauderdale, FL(Zone 10b)

This brug tops my list as my favorite single pink for 2008. This is one of Monika Gottschalk's beauties. The cross is Rosa Zauber x Ecuador Rose.
Shirley Moor (aka Brugie) is the seedling parent growing this one out here in the U.S.
A very vigorous grower that has a wonderful fragrance. She likes to be grown as a standard creating a beautiful canopy for the flowers to hang down from. Dark coloration, tendrils and multiple flushes made this one my favorite for 2008.

She is gorgeous, Gary. Her color is very nice in Florida. She was in a race for first with Rothkirch here. It's good there is room for many because it's really hard to choose between them.

She has just performed so well here I can't say enough about her. I'm really thrilled to be growing this one. Monika is an expert at finding good genetic matches when crossing her brugs.

The recent major cold snaps that we have had, have just about everything (mature enough to have buds on them) full of buds. I even have 4 or 5 new seedlings "y'ing and sitting with teeny weeny buds. If they don't drop, I should have some new stuff on the horizon.....hopefully.

What an awsome and Regal looking bloom .. the tendrils twisting out along with its' colour is what makes it stand out to me..Congratulations on this! (both of you)
