More like 3 hours before. I wonder why the time is showing up as East Coast time.

I saw that banana in person at a nursery here that had bought that banana from Plants Alive I think. It was much bigger. I do not think it will do well here, too cold and not enough humidity. It probably will love your 10 B zone.

I bought 2 variegated bananas awhile back from Hawaii. I kept one and I sent one to my friend Susie. They both died in a couple of weeks. A quick way to toss a couple humdred bucks. Very painful. I still want one! LOL

I so miss seeing you around here!

Ouch! Yeah that is always painful when that happens. I bought a Magnolia coco a couple of times for a fortune only to have it eventually die. I finally gave up throwing my money away, but I still want one too! LOL! If I can find a variegated banana for a reasonable price somewhere, I'll buy you one as a gift, but you have to come visit me in order to get it! LOL!

I miss you too, which is why I hunted you down today and found you entering pictures on PlantFiles! LOL! If Dave's makes me an UBER, I'll come back! LOL! Come to think of it, you should be an UBER too!

Is that a Magnolia coco ? I love the flower buds. Is the flower huge? Isn't it terrible how we want what we can't grow. If I had all the money back from all I have killed over the years, I would be wealthy! LOL

Hi Kell! Yes, that's a Magnolia coco -- the bane of my plant world. The flower buds are only the size of a ping pong ball -- perhaps a little smaller than that.
