Little OT

Noblesville, IN(Zone 5a)

Did you ever start out to do a small chore that turned into a large one? This morning I went to water a tray of plants and ended up dumping it in and on the kitchen sink. What a mess that was. It would take 5 minutes to water and 2 hours to clean up. VERY ANOYING. It wore me out and I tried to take a nap and even that was caotic. It seems everyone you know and some you don't call you than.

Join the club! In some circles, I am well known for dropping trays! Did it again the night before last! Luckily, this time, it was a small tray of violets in an ICU tray. I was so disgusted I just left them there--suppose I should go check on them.....

Noblesville, IN(Zone 5a)

phobe I guess you should. I had to do something about mine because they were in the sink and I needed to do dishes. Darn all that dirt it was everywhere and in every crack and cravice.

Must have been an awful mess :-(
Hope you recover soon---is this one of those things we're supposed to laugh at later?

Noblesville, IN(Zone 5a)

I think so. If I didn't laugh later I might hang myself. One thing good that came of it was I got a plant repotted. Well I really didn't have a lot choices.

Land of OZ, CT(Zone 6a)

ooohhh! I didn't think of reframing tray dropping as a new repotting technique! Nice work makshi! Hee-hee!

Jasper, AR(Zone 7a)

kinda like root hugging only more intense;) I usually roll my plants off the shelves into the floor.

Jeepers! That is SO frustrating. So sorry.

I seem to knock plants over with my big old.....Behind.
Makshi,If I am in the middle of a problem, the phone rings every two minutes....GRRR.

That is a daily occurrence for me. I use my kitchen for everything from repotting to cooking. The biggest hassle is when I drop a lot of plants on the carpet throughout the house. All my gro light stands are on carpet. I have learned just to smile, let it dry and vacuum it up.

You are so right about the timing. I spend 2 hours potting up plants and then 2 hours to clean it all up before it is time to fix dinner and load the dishwasher.............

LOL...sounds just like me.I can never seem to do plant chores in my basement. The light isn't good enough and this poor old back and knees can't do all this on a cold cement floor.I can,but then I can't hardly get back upstairs.Oh,these goden years.

Well I am glad I am not the only one. I swear my kitchen is used for everything much to the dislike of my sister. It is true that every time I am in the middle of a chore like watering the phone rings. I think everyone I know seems to know when I have my hands in water.

Bless your heart Diane! I had to chuckle though when you said you got a plant repotted out of it!
That sounds like me! *lol*

I have it also and like all of you there are seldom days pain free. I do try to do some things I like every day so not to think about it as much.

Noblesville, IN(Zone 5a)

It is pretty anyway.

It's very beautiful! Don't most of us love Gessies and other plants because they soothe our souls and make us forget about pain at least for a little while? For me they are very theraputic.
