While watching the Westminster Dog Show last night .. I was kind of puzzled to see dogs who had already won Best of Breed .. go into
Best of Class .. the Judges differ for both venues.
2 (maybe 3) beautiful Terriers were 'disqualified' because of a 'conflict of interest' with the judge. The judges for these events are chosen way in advance of the show (sometimes 2 years) .. it just kind of seems unethical to have someone who has worked hard to have their animal qualify for the Westminster, and gets as far to have won best of breed .. and then POOF .. they get turfed? Seems so odd.
Can anyone shed some light on this ?
