Ok, so my hubby jokes that I'm shopping at Home Depot and not the mall....but...I did get the pastel color tulips 50 bulbs/$6.96. Home Depot seemed to have some good deals on those new yellow tulip bulbs (12/$3.96) and the fancy double ones. I thought this was a pretty good deal...anyone else get these tulips?

when hubby ask me to go out to dinner-that means dinner and then homedepot or lowes!!! I luv shopping there, especially now that fall is approaching-lots of clearance sales!!!
i will be heading there this weekend to see what the deals are.

our idea of a date is dropping money at Lowes!!! Or if it's a really special date, we'll drive 20 miles to Pikes! and try to save enough to eat at Burger King on the way home:)

I'm always amazed how many people are in Home Depot at 9:00 on Saturday night. Of course, the only way I know they're there is because I'm there too! No wonder our kids think we're totally boring :)

Home Depot and Lowes do have some great deals. I purchased bulbs from both last year. I found the 'pastel' tulips of which you speak were not all pastel. There were reds, oranges and bright yellow in there as well. They were still beautiful and a great deal but if you absolutely only want pastel colors, you would do best to buy mail order or in single varieties. Personally, I have so many colors in my garden it doesn't matter. I love a good deal! Happy planting. Oh and I am right there with you when it comes to the "Home Depot" date. When did I get to this point? LOLOLOL

Hey Girls, the men in Canada are the same, the best places to shop are Canadian Tire or Home Depot. Canadian Tire, sells everything but wood or should I say building supplies.
I can't complain either I always find something to buy or wish for, and I like going to the plant section.
