Global Warming Drives Birds Further North
Good morning, Pelletory, and thanks for sharing the two links. Urban sprawl was mentioned. My hubby and I know all about that: living so close to DC. That (undoubtedly) is why the Cooper's Hawk is a regular visitor to our yard. He's a beautiful bird, but I'd much rather he have more territory in which to hunt.
I had wondered why I wasn't seeing purple finches this winter. They are only going as far south as Milwaukie nowadays.
I have to say that I saw articles all over the place yesterday after Audubon released their report. Just AWESOME that it gets such great coverage.
