There are 4 different kinds of blueberries listed for sale on the AgriStart Co-Op going on now, for anyone interested. I thought I would post here since most of the other plants are tropicals, and some may not know there is blueberries. The ones for sale are these:
Vaccinium (Blueberries) NOW AVAILABLE
Vaccinium 'Emerald' (UF)* $1.53 5040
Vaccinium 'Jewel' (UF)* $1.53 3024
Vaccinium 'Springwide' (UF)* $1.53 5040
Vaccinium 'Southern Bell' (UF)* $1.53 1008
These are very small plants (seedlings almost) but for $1.53 each, not bad to get a variety started. You have to buy 3 of each to order in this Co-Op.

Blueberry bushes on AgriStart Co-Op
Lots of FL blueberry info including sources, in this newsletter called the Blueberry News; caution it is several years old.

Different areas require different varieties so do a little research. (I mean, don't buy them from Lowes or HD). You have to know whether you can grow rabbiteye or southern highbush varieties. Many locations can grow both. Ask your state ag extension service.
