Happy Birthday Linth, hope you'll enjoy your day.
Wow !!!! ....... I'm lost for words and that's a first ! Thank you all for the birthday wishes and attached photos.
I just got in about 2 hours ago after a grueling 4 hours of birding plus 4 hours of travel time. My objective was to observe and photograph Snow Geese and boy did I see (and photograph) Snow Geese. What a sight and an enjoyable day.
Pelle, thank you for the daylily photo as daylilies are one of my other hobbies with 300+ different cultivars. Margaret, I'm not saying a word. If you say it has four legs, it has four legs. Bepob2, thank you for the Pine Siskin photo. It's probably the only one I will see this year. Grandmaggie, thank you for the Hibiscus photo. For me, it's a reminder that Spring is not far away. I always have a few Hibiscus each year even though they die off in the Fall. Wallaby, thank you the photo of one of my favorite birds. How I wish they came into my backyard. dellrose, what would my birthday be without a Bald Eagle. Mrs_Ed, beautiful photo of the Yellow Swallowtail ... another warm weather indicator. gardenpom, thank you for the talking dove ! luv, thank you for your photo ... it's music to my ears. sallyg, thank you 'neighbor' for the 'bird in the hand' photo .... a poignant moment I'm sure .....
And thank you to all the others. I appreciate the thought.
Rushing in, but not too late!! Happy birthday, Linthicum!! I knew I'd find you over here. I have long admired your bird photos and I'm looking forward to some Snow Geese pictures.
From the Northern Part of Virginia, I'm sending along a belated birthday wish to you. May you be blessed with many more happy days of birding.
Sharon
Hello all. Hope you are well. As always, I do so enjoy seeing the photos of the birds.
Pelle, wanted to let you know that before my busy day started, I had another very pleasant time on the Cornell site listening and learning specifics on the birds. Lee
Yah Charlie, do you grow those all, or was it just a big photo project?
