Have there been any round ups in Ontario?

I don't know of any official ones...there are a few people who've met up occasionally, but they live close together.
Most RUs start with some interested folks wanting to get together for a plan swap and it mushrooms from there. Some travel many miles to attend, others only attend local events. It just takes a few interested people to get the ball rolling. For IA RUs, a few people took it upon themselves to d-mail all subscribers in IA and surrounding states. Pick a date, location, etc. and go on from there.
I'd potentially be interested, but it all depends on the date and what else is on my schedule.

I'd most likely if it was within driving reach attend one as well...asked last year about having one, said it was up to the individuals....
As I am the only subscriber from Thunder Bay that I can find on Daves (and I find that odd) .. having coffee with myslef would be kinda boring .. nearest subscriber to me is in Sault Ste Marie (a one day drive) or .. Winnipeg .. 7 hours west.
MAYBE one day someone else from TBay will join .. it's not for lack of me mentioning it to people ..

"M" do you never come south.. now that you've that lovely new set of wheels wouldn't it be fun to travel south..I'm midpoint between you and the other Ontarians.??? go get the roadmap, pick a date and I'll host it if you promise to come....
I used to head south quite often for nursing stuff .. and .. there is a good chance I MIGHT be heading that way in perhaps April .. to visit Lorna's folks in King City .. north of Toronto .. still in the 'talking about it stages' right now.

I don't know who would be in my area. I would be willing to drive an hour or two if a R.U. is possible at some point. I would love to meet some of the people from Dave's Garden. This is such a great site to learn from.
I'm planning a plant sale in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada for mid-June, right in the centre of the city (Minto Park). Eastern Ontario is a long way from TB!
Nevertheless, we hope to have lots of perennial divisions and seedlings. The main purpose of the sale is to get people gardening, and also to raise money to plant/beautify areas in our urban setting.
Any help/plant-contribution greatly appreciated.

Ottawa's a bit far for me, not sure, what 4 or 5 hours drive...Cambridge perhaps 2 hr. drive...want to go to St.Jacobs this spring for a drive not far from Cambridge right or is that Gamebridge..off to check..

Yes, I do know Carol, we met a few years ago at her lovely home. That would be lovely to get together this summer, round up or not! I live in downtown Whitby in a house I just bought last summer. Its got a few perennial gardens that I only dabbled a bit with last year, and expanded a bit of course! The silly lady who owned it before me didn't like clematis...can you imagine?!

Would be fun Christine, spent a day with Carol..OMG hated to come home, her gardens are set up on an apple orchard lot, designed to encompas rooms, yard art all around...don't know if my mouth closed the entire time of our visit due to the 'awe's' lol
I can only dream and work to try and have gardens such as she has...
When I moved into my home 4 years ago Christine, bet there was not 5 flowers planted on the entire double lot...I've come a long way but each and every time I think of Carol's I know how much further I have to go...
Maybe we could do a mini- roundup at my house...
Maybe a meeting in St. Jacob's would be an option, then we can also take advantage of the St. Jacob's market ?
All depends on when it is. I would consider a trip down that way. Maybe Sandy would come with me.
