For the life of me I can not tell what is eating my brugs. It doesnt matter what time of year. Is there a concotion I can make myself that will prevent all bugs from eating my babies that is safe and will prevent from these evil predators from eating my leaves.
Recipr for eating bugs
Gee, for a minute there I thought you were asking for a recipe to eat bugs. Ewwwww! I never could stand to watch Survivor episodes or fear factor where they made them eat bugs and slugs.
Jazmine, what does the damage look like? I'm afraid one concoction won't work on all pests. Something has been getting into my greenhouse. The first night it chew right through 2 plumeria stalks and girdled 4 more. Then early this week it started on the Brugs pots sitting on the floor. It eats entire leaves and tender new growth. Seems to be picky, too. What it doesn't like, is left on the floor or lying in the pots. He's left short stubs on Brugs he seems to prefer. I my case I think it's a rabbit or a rat. I hope a systemic works to "sour" the leaves, but it takes a while to work its way into the leaves.
Definatly sounds like a rabbit, they always eat the tender parts.
LOL _ I didnt realize how I phrased the post - oooooops - lots on my mind.
Whats happening now is the leaves are being eaten from the middle and then outward. So I have big holes in the leaves. There isnt any sign of slime for it to be snails or slugs.
These are in pots away from any other plants. They mostly go for the larger leaves, and let the new leaves alone.
