MJ,

I can't help you with a more plants, but, I thought I would let you know that your plant will come back from the roots.

Ok..I'll keep an eye on it...it's just "black" clear to the crown. But I'll take you up on the plants if it doesn't come back.
Thanks!!!!!

MJ,

I am guessing that will will still get another round of cold, it has been the coldest winter that I can remember and it is still the beginning of Feb.

DeLand/Deleon Spring, FL(Zone 8b)

I know...you should see how I "dressed" my Stag Horn Fern, I'll try to get a pic of it later today.
This is one I took late in the fall...I've had it since it was in a 2 1/2 in pot......32 years.
Well, I guess we're all in the same boat.........except for the folks in S. Fla.

South Florida is cold, too - talked to friends in a couple of different southern cities - they are worried as well.

I didn't realize it was getting that cold down there too. So many nurseries down there and folks w/ really tropical plants.

Yes - I just heard on the news that it's 40 degrees in Miami and the Keys!

I woke up to 30, didn't leave the house until it hit 35. We will see how much damage there was in a couple days.....
