thank u! well actually he was born the 29th so he is just over a mth old. they get huge fast he is about half the size of his mom already. i don't know how long they feed them for to be honest. since he is only baby he is very spoiled,lol. i had to help him since he got stuck in his egg and could not zip the egg so i actually hatched him myself with my sportsman. his sibling didn't make it cuz i was to sick by time it was to come out it internal pipped, i was not able to help it. they accepted him back in the nest but once they did they have cared for him since. it took a bit but i felt it was what was best for him. now he is spoiled rotten by them and me,lol.

i got another uggie baby!!! this one must be gonna be another color it looks like it has white down feathers not yellow. i'll take pics when i can it is to cold today in here even with heat on so i don't want them out where they can get chilled.
Boy they get big fast. He's not going to want to leave the nest being pampered like that!
They feed their babys for quite a while i usally remove mine when they start harassing the parents too much and they can feed themselves.
Silkie all my babys are that color when they hatch they aren't like chickens and hatch colored their colors come in as there new feathers come in.
Doves are the same way they all look the same when hatched their colors come in later.
