Help w- Plant identification

Prospect, KY(Zone 6a)

I have this neat plant with no idea of what it might be called? The leaves all have soft thorny looking hairs surrounding their upper edge. Any help is much appreciated.

Perhaps an Faucaria

Look at

and search for faucaria

I think about "Faucaria tigrina" for example

I think it is a Tiger Jaw, I do not know its real name, other than that. Krispi

Yes I have a fantastic local plant/pot store in town. They always have a full stock of great sized unusual plants very reasonably priced. I need to put up some of the other things I have around. Thank you so much for the help in ID.

You are wecome. If I may ask, where is the store and what is its name. (would it be Thienemenas?) I'm a quick jump from Prospect and would be interested to check it out. Thanks. Succulents and unusual plants are my favs.

Yes, Thienemans They don't have much out this time of year but if you have a specific type of want they will assist. It seems that I'm constantly throwing questions back and forth with them. They are a fantastic resource.

Yes they are. And a great bunch of folks too. Last summer, I volunteered with them -will work for plants lol. Everyone let me pick their brains and I got to see big healthy specimens of plants I had seen only in catalogs. Seems we have the same taste for the unique. My poor, poor wallet. lol

Noblesville, IN(Zone 5a)

I could never hang around a plant place long or I would have to move for lack of room. Well I would more that likely run out of money first.

How true on both counts. We can never have enough of on or the other because there is always something new, some extraordinary thing that we have never seen before and simply must have. At least we will never run out of the adventure in looking.
