Last Friday one of my Monstera flowers opened. I thought great, tomorrow the insects will arrive and the pollination sequence will start.
Next day I looked and there was no flower, only the normal flower bud.
I thought, oh dear, senility has arrived, I must put my affairs in order. Then I looked in my camera and there was the photo of the flower. What a relief.
The bud is still closed as though it had never opened.
I know these plants are very smart and their pollination sequence is amazing, however?
What happened, did nobody turn up for work and the plant shut up shop?
Top photo Friday.
Bottom photo today.
