My chicks hatched and i only have 6 that are doing well and one thats trying but not doing to good.
Something was off with my hatch and i will analyze it and fix the problem.
I have some new pigeons and they are the kind with the small heads and huge eyes "i just love them".
Located some call ducks and Mandarin ducks my friend has acquired 2 pairs of each and will be raising them. Because we are such good friends I'm first on the list for baby ducks. I'm very excited about that!!
My bunnys are not any better they look perfectly normal but they still have the snotty runny nose's I'm still thinking about them.

glad to hear from u harm!! glad all is well!!! u wanted me to let u know how my pigeons r, well i got 2 fertile eggs in one nest and first egg due to hatch within a few days. the second egg has awesome thick veins and i can see the baby swimming like crazy in there!!! this will be the first babies from the blue bar and dun bar girl, i'm so excited!!
squeaker is now named anubus and we will be keeping it for a pet and is just over a mth old and his parents just laid their second egg in their new nest yesterday. anubus is gray with black primaries and is getting his frills in now!!

Here's my pigeons they are Budapest and i just love them. Shock of the century here, I loved them so much their in my living room. Me miss won't let a chicken come in the house has a nice large cage and theres my new jewels.
I bought them at our auction and when i saw them i said i want those i don't care how much they are i want them. So i talked to the lady who owned them to see if she had a minimum and she got all "well they sell for $40 each on the internet". Well lord knows i don't have $80 to spend on pigeons and she never said her minimum. So i sat all night as they were far down on the selling line and i was nervous as a cat. Then there they were and i started bidding i bid $5 and someone bid $6 and i missed the bid and started to panic when he said sold to number and it wasn't mine. My heart was pounding and i was a mess how could i have missed the bid oh lord help me!
Then she stood up and said no sale and said i want $15 each i couldn't get my hand up fast enough!!
The auctioneer said take that woman them pigeons she so excited and the guy brought them to me. I was smiling so hard i thought my cheeks were going to split!!

Thanks i just love my new pigeons and they have been getting cozy if you know what i mean in their cage. I was wondering maybe if i put in a nest would they lay eggs and raise babys might have to give it a try LOL

Hey Silkie WOOT! WOOT! on your pipping egg and the others. You will be like me before long have so many of these because they just breed and breed. People think rabbits breed alot i say pigeons have got them beat by a long shot.
My pigeons and doves bred and raised so many last year i started begging them to slow down cause i couldn't keep up LOL
I throw away eggs every day and in 2 weeks theres more i keep saying spring is coming my prettys just be patient.

i had an uggie baby hatch this am!!!!! yep before to long i'll have a bunch too,lol. i agree they lay eggs like mad they r worse than my rabbits, lmbo.
