One of my early arrivals. They are very camera shy and like to flit about very high in the canopy. This was a snapshot taken at extreme range.
CLOSED: Flycatcher?
It's an oriole, possibly Hooded.
Yes very similar to the Hooded Oriole. The site for this bird shows that it does not visit Guatemala. My Mexican Bird book states specifically that it is not found in Guatemala. This bird is more orange and the wing bars appear different but as you say probably an Oriole. It may be the angle of the photo but the beak also appears not to have the slight curvature of an Oriole.
Hopefully better photos later.

It's definitely an oriole, though possibly not Hooded.
I'm sure Resin will be along later to chime in. :-)
He's a beauty John!
I'm thinking immature male Bullock's Oriole. It shows the black line through the eye, and also the second wingbar on Hooded wouldn't be so obvious.
Resin
Yes Resin, as usual you are on the money. My Mexican book even states that it winters to Guatemala.
The picture of the adult male was misleading, the junior male matches.
