Hello fellow Canadians

(Zone 4a)

Hi folks - not sure if you remember me but I was posting here for a while probably a year ago or so. I would like to be more involved in this forum......I hope you have room for me.

I am finding this winter really long....I am starting to get the gardening itch even though I still have a few more months to go. I am really looking forward to spring!

Hi Dawn,
I think we are all dreaming of our garden seasons to begin.

I keep picturing in my head, how my garden looks in spring.

Where do you live?..you just mention zone 4a.

Here are some old fashioned Lemon lilies.

Oh I remember you, Dawn, the one with Clematis-itis. lol Spring is coming - it won't be long now!

Sandy

Yes that would probably be me however I am not sure about the clematis-itis but that was a good one...you have me laughing here! I do love them though. It is so funny I have such a tiny yard but I must have at least 10-12 different clematis....

I do love other plants as well though - don't get me wrong. I just need dh to buy me a new home with a much bigger yard next time! Then I would be planting more DL's and things.

Gosh, that's a pretty garden, Dawn! The Clematis act like a background plant or shrub and you use them to perfection. It wouldn't be half as interesting without the Clematis. Kudos.

Wow! You obviously have the touch or optimum conditions or both for good Clematis blooms.

Newcastle, ON(Zone 5a)

OH Dawn..how lovely..such colour..and lots of blooms on your clematis. Do you fertilize them?

(Zone 4a)

Thank you everyone.....

Starzz I normally just fertilize once in spring with rose food and then I use a lot of composted cow manure around the base of each clematis...that is it.....the rest just does itself.....

Thanks Dawn..
