This bird has been in my yard for apparently for some time this year as I kept seeing holes in a cirlce in my pecan tree. The head is red and so is the throat. I originally saw it with my Red Bellied Woodpecker. Today, I finally got a picture of it. See three pics to aid in identification. Fort Worth, Tx.

A face only a mother could love! It was so funny to watch it, then it sounded like a cat meowing.
