Can cooked spaghetti squash be frozen?

Hi folks,

Just back from a veggie market. Picked up a spaghetti squash. Trouble it, it's huge. Half of it would be enough. Does anyone know whether I can cook the whole thing at once and freeze the cooked strands that we don't eat? Otherwise, I suspect half will be wasted.
