My female duck-dog (she thinks she's a dog, I don't want to hurt her feelings) is laying eggs. I bought her and her companion at the Farm Supply store this spring,so she's not very old. I didn't realize she way laying until I found an egg in the yard, then two or three more in her various hiding spots in the garden.
Are the eggs OK to eat if I collect them right after they've been laid?
