I'm happy that you like it! I was very lucky to have been able to take it. The camera I was using at the time was not that great. Luckily, the butterfly was so entranced by her egg-laying that she didn't notice my gigantic silver camera an inch away!!!

I raised monarchs this last year as well, but had some nasty suprises.
Tachinid Flies infected some of the caterpillars before I collected them.
Nasty little buggers.

My post that was above was removed because of the pic I accidentally attached to your thread...sorry! Admin couldn't remove just the pic, but the entire post. I reposted it where it should have gone. Here's that same thread (updated) from before, but with a series of pics I attached so you can see what happened. I'm glad I took the series of pics...Good Grief! That's all I need is someone who might think I "magic markered/drew" the "mustache" on the chrysalis or something...or did something terrible to the Butterfly...Geeesssh...Whew! LOL
