Don't mean to gross anyone out, but I have a 4 year old cat that actually eats the mice he catches. There's no way I can prevent this as he is mainly an outdoor cat (except at night) and the mice come from the property next door.
He has never regurgitated them (at least not that I'm aware of ) and never seems to get sick afterward. I realize it's a cats instict to hunt mice, but can eating them harm the cat ?
He eats the regular dry cat food and canned food as well, so it's not as if he's starving.
Anyone else's cat do this ? If so, what, if anything do you do about it ?
