My greenhouse was spotless? When each leaf was plucked up off the ground almost the second it fell? Nah, me either. That only lasted the first 2 winters I had the greenhouse. Now I pretty much take the winters off from Brug care. They don't get much more than they need to keep them alive.
The warm spell we got for a week made them bloom unexpectedly. Pale winter blooms that I almost missed seeing. Pink Charm's first bloom from a cutting. (Thank you Gary) Fascination, and Dorthea behind her with some mostly spent blooms. Gee, maybe I should go out there with a flash light so I don't miss them.
Anyone remember when ...
Blooms no matter what time of year always brighten my day. Mary now that pink charm has started blooming you should see some major flushes this summer. I have never seen her so lightly colored though. You should expect some deep pink coloration when the weather warms up. She is one of those brugs that seems to always have blooms on her. She is a very vigorous grower too so expect big things from her this summer. This is one of Monikas beautiful singles that has earned it's place in my garden.
