Persistent male weaver!

The male weaver is busy attempting to make his fourth nest, while the female is in a nearby branch watching [not in the picture]; she already destroyed the previous three ones! (This is taking place in a mulberry tree in my front yard.)

Lucky you to be able to watch this......I guess the first three were not to her liking?

Well, the fussy female weaver again destroyed the nest; the fourth the poor male had just finished! Today I saw another male [maybe the same] carrying straws to another tree nearby. Maybe he finally realized what the problem was…

I sure hope he can figure out how to satisfy this female. Cute picture.

Or file for a divorce and find someone else!!
