I want to grow a butterfly bush, in a container, only I want to grow it on the same side that a neighbor has their wild bird feeder on. Will the birds be a danger to the BF's that I want to host??
I don't think this feeder is out all year round..only in the early spring.

hi, i'm not an expert, but i've never seen a bird in my yard go after any of the butterflys. The only one who chases butterflys is my crazy labrador retriever...(good news, he's never caught one, they just fly over his head).
I say go for it, I would and woulnd't worry about it. I have a butterfly bush in my yard and lots of birds and never saw a bird go after one.
