Happy birthday Anita! Hope you have a wonderful day! Eleanor
Happy Birthday Anitabryk2!
Thank you Eleanor! You are up early.
Oh my goodness! Happy birthday!! How did I forget my DG wife's birthday!
I wish you the best of everything!
Happiest of happy birthdays, Anita.
Enjoy the sunshine!
Thanks everyone! I always look forward to seeing all of you in the threads and inlcuding you in my list of friends!!!
Hey...who knew I had my own town!!!! [H B-Day Anita, NH] hahahaha
Happy birthday from me and the cats!
Thank you all - I had a wonderful day. Everyone should have such a day!
It isn't over yet! Have a wonderful last two hours, then on to a whole year of great unbirthday days. I am sending you a mental bloom as this computer has no photo's on it. But it is you very favorite! Patti
Anyone else notice that Jan23 is Anita's birthday? (January 23)
Carrie, Anita is also my wife's name. A long time ago someone got confused and thought we were married. Ironically, Anitabryk2 shares a birthday with my ex-wife.
Talk about a small world..right? I remember how strange it was and how much fun we had with those facts.
I have some ironic info - my son and his girlfriend - both their dad's birthdays are on the same day, and both their step-dad's birthdays are on the same day. Easy for them to remember - or easy for the girlfriend to remind my son!
Isn't it wierd when things like that happen?
It's a funny little world. Thanks, David, for the clarification.
Yes Anita, those were very fun days.
Was that 3 of your birthdays ago?
I think it was..I lose track of time
Me too! My memory scares me sometimes.
It really is amazing how much quicker time passes as we get older...
Oh how pretty - thank you Michaela.
Last year my other half would say to me "what day is it?" I would be very annoyed. This year I say to him "what day is it?" I find it VERY scary.
How about when you write a list so you won't forget, but then forget the list...
Hope it was a good one, Anita.
It's even worse when you can't FIND the list ") What day is it and where did I put the list???
Thank you it was.
How about going in a room to get something, getting distracted and then you can't remember what you went in there for!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh ya been there done that, too many times and I do loose the list too. :)
Michaela I love that pic, so much color and so cheerful. Need that with the cold and snow out there today.
Originally, I went into the room to find the list. Now, I have no idea!
I play this new trivia game with myself. It's called: "What was I thinking/" The truly sad part is that I get excited when I get the correct answer!
LOL Dave. Usually going to another room will shake things loose. Like I say to my Mom , she's 94, the reason she can't remember things any more is because after all the years of stuffing thoughts in her head it is just full now. She will laugh and we will have the same conversation again in few days, and it will be all new to her again. That is just how it is. :)
The picture is of cinareria at the Buchart Gardens in Victoria - late May. I am trying to grow some for myself . . . wish me luck!
Gorgeous photo Micheala! So glad to see you posting. I've missed you! How are things in Springfield??
I'm getting such a kick out of the various comments about forgetfulness. All of those examples happen to me repeatedly, so it is soothing to hear my intelligent friends here doing the very same things. Since my Mom had Alzheimer's disease, it is never far from my mind when these things happen.
Dave - I'm also happy to see you posting again. Missed you too.
Happy Sunday after your birthday, Anita!! LOL
Thanks, Donniebrook,
Well, it turns out that I have been running on empty for about a year - had to up my thyroid medication.
So that sort of explains the weight gain and lack of energy!
Now I want to lose about 35 pounds before we go to the west coast . . . wish me luck
today I started some rose seeds I received in trade - lord help me if they all germinate!
Hey, does that mean if I take thyroid meds I'll lose weight and get a burst of energy, LOL?
Seriously, Michaela, that's not good. Take care of your health please.
