I checked on all my animals and everybody was fine..even the baby chicks..but my mini pin dog would not leave the room with the bator in it until I checked it out..glad I did..Had some peeps hatched early on me instead of Monday morning..I have them in my other extra fishtank so I can keep an eye on them...lol..

Here is a pic of my fuzzy butts born Sunday morning to Sunday nite..

So So cute: I think i shall never get tired of baby chicks, duck, animals. There is something so innocent and majestic is babies. I must really be getting old. Sound like an old mushpot, whatever that is. Thanks Moodene for sharing. Haystack p.s. Your son will be well watched over by the Great Shepard.

Not a Roundhead. Southern all the way.

Sapello, NM(Zone 5b)

British history, silly. %o
I read too much, nobody gets my jokes...

Clarkson, KY

You missed mine, turkey!! The Roundheads still run the North and the colleges...

Sapello, NM(Zone 5b)

Gobble, gobble!! LOL
I thought you called 'em yanks?! Or dang yanks?

Out here we call all of you easterners....
LOL

Clarkson, KY

Yes, but YOU call them roundheads!!

And I guess that makes you and everyone in LA 'westerners'? Homogeneity at its finest--*snickerteehee*--Careful what you wish for...Ok. Northeast. Depending on your historical reference...

Sapello, NM(Zone 5b)

Nah, LAs still east...
We don't call nuthin' roundheads... what y'all call roundheads we probably jes call annoyin'

LOL

Clarkson, KY

[Weren't the roundheads Puritans? And it's clear you ain't no Puritan...] So you call 'em Puritans?

Can't wait to see pics!!!

Sapello, NM(Zone 5b)

I think we got ourselves about tangled up enough now to fall down and never get up... =0)
Roundheads is a nickname used in Great Britain, given to Puritans who supported the Parliament and Oliver Cromwell against King Charles the Uno during the English Civil War (1641-ish).

Here's one... they cut their hair to distinquish themselves from the long ringlets of royalty... cheery looking fellow, isn't he?

Clarkson, KY

Yes, and exported any number of those cheerful souls to found our best colleges and write our most stringent -ermm, wrongs and laws. They are still there. The northern half of the original 13.

Sorry all...coulda posted this privately and left you wondering what happened but well...

I'd rather have a "Party Under Rock"

Sapello, NM(Zone 5b)

Hmmm... Party Under Rock... PUR... sounds suspicious. ;o)
But do y'all really call them roundheads? Did that moniker follow them over the pond?

Sapello, NM(Zone 5b)

More hmmming... KY... ain't y'all sprung from the loins of the dissolute French? Most decidely not puritans...
;o)

Clarkson, KY

Roundheads are part of history. Not really a current moniker. And no, Kentuckians are mostly of English derivation, I believe. I'm actually Virginian. If I can find the thread...don't want to flog these nice people with it again...

Ok. Iffn you'd read through the posts for Dec 6th you'll be about up to date -I think ^_^

Sapello, NM(Zone 5b)

Well, in any case, it's still your pointy little head...
LOL Probably the dissolute english then...
myself is from the 'born of unknown parents' american lineage... allaways back to 1691, I think.
Good ol' american mongrels... =0)

We have totally hijacked Moo's topic... if you haven't unwatched us, Moodene, sincerest apologies. We be bad...

(Nadine) Devers, TX(Zone 9b)

LOL..but I am enjoying the HIJACK thread..hahaha

Sapello, NM(Zone 5b)

Thank heavens for that! =0)
So how's all your little fuzzy roundheads doing?

And do you hail/hale from roundheads or pointy heads...
oh no, wait... eggheads!!!

LOL
Jay

PS... Grow, there's no way you're a virginian... at your age that'd make you a puritan. Or awfully unlucky in love...

Clarkson, KY

Merely immaculate...no don't go there!!! It was Capital V--irginian. They claim we go back to 1607. And my grandmother always said "Bless his little pointed head..." in talking about particularly unfortunate (mentally) souls...

Eggheads ---hmmmm....

Sapello, NM(Zone 5b)

Oh, jes' ver' ver' clean, eh? ;o)

Yeah, I had a friend from somewhere back there (after TX it all sort of runs together in my head) that would always say, "Bless her/his heart..." and then slash and burn the poor person thoroughly.

Wonder where the pointy head thing came from. Still a step up from Airhead... going where no one has gone before....

Clarkson, KY

Don't know. Possibly congenital...

(Nadine) Devers, TX(Zone 9b)

Here is an update of my BBSOrps chicks..They might end up being kinda sorta splash too..
