Hello All, new to this forum, thank you for having me. I have recently considered buying a pair of compact binoculars. I plan on buying them and taking care of them as a life long investment, so money is not really an issue within reason. I went to the local sporting goods store and looked at the 10x25 swarovskis and the 10x25 zeiss pocket binoculars. I would like to know your opinions on these binoculars or others, and have also read that the 8 power are better for viewing because they are easier to stabilize. thanks for your time in advance Brian
Which pair of binoculars to buy
P.S. I've also considered the Swarovski 8x32s
If money is no object, then anything from Swarovski, Zeiss or Leica will be good.

I did a great deal of research before buying my DH a Nikon Monarch ATB - 8x42. Weight was a definite consideration. http://www.consumersearch.com/binoculars/nikon-monarch-atb-8x42 The optics are great and they are waterproof, fog proof, drop-on-the ground proof. Now if he just doesn't lose them....
