Wow! You really do have a nice collection! Great growing!

I'm real curious about the plant in your post #8 up from the bottom at 5:23 p.m. - the one that looks like fern shaped foliage. Do you know the name of that one?

Marks, MS(Zone 7b)

I cant remember the name, but I think its something like cryptanthus...I was trying to look it up tonight...its very similar to a ric rac, but not the same plant

(Zone 1)

Ok, I think I have seen that one before. I will go look it up ... yes, it does sound sorta like cryptanthus.

(Zone 1)

It look like this photo of Palmbob's in Plant Files: http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/showimage/223492/

My pic's of the Ric Rac are in there too but my plant is a bit different.

(Zone 1)

hmmm ... found another one similar to the other Ric Rac ... wonder if this is what I have: http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/54204/ I guess I will have to wait for blooms.

Marks, MS(Zone 7b)

yes...there are two different ric racs with different colored flowers. I have two, and they seem different, in that the leaves on one are thinner and more rubbery feeling to the touch. To look at them from a distance they look exactly alike. I have never seen either bllom, and one I bought recently, so Im not sure if they are two different plants, or maybe the one I recently bought is just younger.

Shelburne Falls, MA(Zone 5a)

Ditto. I have two ric racs that have never bloomed and I'm dying to ID them!

Chipley, FL(Zone 8a)

I believe that your picture #2 is a rat tail cactus.
