Those are so very pretty Turtle-chi sent me a Chery Roulette But Mine died as normal for me with all my working I just have to pay attention to my plants this summer no matter how tired I am.
I will be taking off for her house next week so I am very excited about the trip and to see all here Plants she has done so well with her growing plants as all have Thanks for sharing

i know the feeling, before i found this group i felt like you do. this meeting is 80 miles 1 way, but so worth it. thank goodness i found 2 other women who live not that far from me who also belong, & they take turns driving as i am scared to death of toll roads, they have no idea what they mean to me.it's a wonerful group also, we are having a show in march, it will not be a judged show this year, bit we still have a great showing & sale of plants at the chicago botantical gardens. i can't wait.

Dave (of Dave's Violets) told me that there is a show and sale in Tulsa the end of Feb. I already have a commitment darn it.

I agree...you are very fortunate to have Gary at your meetings (which is great in itself) and the opportunity to buy nice quality plants in person. Not to mention good traveling friends to go with.
I would also love to know how Gary grows his plants.

GoldLeaf, Gary is so nice you could ask him what he grows in and he would gladly tell you. He has to be one of the nicer growers anywhere.
yes Gary is awesome,and he grows his streps so good,there isnt any better commerial for streps then him,when you buy you get a good starter,not a small,plantlet
